Lancaster (Pennsylvania) Communities That Care and Lancaster's Promise have joined their efforts to sponsor this web resource of information about the process of establishing and operating programs for mentoring children in the Lancaster community. On this site you will find information about mentoring practices, background information about the organizations involved, contact information for networking with others in the field, and links to websites that contain assistance with many other aspects of youth mentoring. The intent of the two sponsoring organizations is to be of assistance to anyone who is currently providing, or desires to provide, mentoring services to the young people of Lancaster, PA. This website is the result of the cooperative efforts of several other local groups including: Lancaster United Way, the Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the Juvenile Probation Office BARJ Program.
